Due to reopen on July 4th 2020, Hotel Endleigh is one of Olga Polizzi’s Collection– the Hotel Inspector . Set in 100 acres of fairy tale gardens, woodland, follies and grottos created by Humprhy Repton, Endsleigh offers a wonderful setting for an English Country wedding. The hotel has a marriage licence and is able to accommodate small cosy weddings or large ones, when the hotel is taken over exclusively.
Endsleigh has 19 bedrooms, each individually designed with uncluttered elegance. The furniture is an eclectic mix of old and new with some unusual pieces, the overall effect being that of staying in a friend’s beautiful country house.
For Charlie and James’s wedding in March we were blessed with the most lovely sunny day for our cocktails on the terrace. Followed by a delicious wedding breakfast in the stables and then late afternoon photos in the ‘golden hour’ just before the sun goes down in the beautiful grounds of Hotel Endsleigh.
We used both the more formal gardens running down to the River Tamar and the arboretum and shell grotto.
