Emily Fairweather is known for her intimate and natural family portraiture. As a Mum of two girls she has had extensive experience of photographing children from newborn babies to teenagers. She has a great rapport with kids and her signature photographs reflect this.
Emily is as happy photographing natural, black and white portraits as she is to take more colourful and playful photos. She also has an extensive fancy dress trunk if you’d like to create a more fanciful photo.
Emily is also really happy to come to record a family event like your child's birthday party or baby's christening and can snap away unobtrusively while you enjoy the party.
PORTRAIT SHOOTS
A typical family portrait shoot will take 2-4 hours. This could be at your home or a location your family enjoys going to. You can also come to Emily's home and use her garden/props.
Emily is based in London and in the West Country near Taunton and is happy to travel anywhere. Emily charges a modest travel fee for distances beyond 20 miles from her home.
Prices of portrait sessions vary depending on sizes of family and distance. A typical family shoot starts at £175 to include 1x10x8 mounted print. This fixed fee covers Emily's time and talent and her unique take on the world. It also includes a day of editing the photographs.
Clients can view the pictures at a screening in their home or at Emily's house.
Emily offers various post-production options including boxes of mounted prints, bespoke photography albums, large scale canvases and a full range of contemporary and traditional frames.
